We arrived in Vegas on Thursday and that night we each had our Bachelor and Bachelorette parties. Yes, I did watch the Hangover - he still made it to the wedding, don't worry ;)
The girls pre-partied and had a lingerie shower in my suite. I was so grateful to have all my wonderful girl friends in Vegas and we had the best time. We continued the party at the Bank at the Bellagio where we had bottle service. Some would say we had too many bottles. Does 5 bottles for 15 girls seem like a lot? We had a front row table right near the dance floor and our own bodyguard! Since it was the first night in Vegas, we took it a little easy and ended up in bed by about 3 am. We had a big weekend ahead of us. Now I don't know all the details of the boy's adventure but I do know it involved renting a party bus that drove around Vegas, a couple of bottle service tables at the Palms, then other clubs, and I think they got in bed by around 6 am. Both of our parties were a success!
On Friday we had our rehearsal at the chapel at 1:30 followed by our rehearsal lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at the Flamingo. This was a great spot. We had a private room on the second story of the restaurant with great views of the strip! Everyone was invited and I think they all had a great time. We also heard beautiful words from our wedding party and family that meant so much to us. Thank you to Mark and Diane for hosting a wonderful event.
On the big day, we started getting ready early in my suite. I'm so glad all my best girls were with me in my last few hours as a single lady. Our ceremony started at 2 pm and the chapel was packed! My two favorite big brothers walked me down the aisle:
The ceremony was quick and sweet and they pronounced us Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Williams Jr.!
We took tons of pictures with our wedding party and family before heading to the reception.
The reception was fabulous and could not have been possible without my mom and CG. Thank you to them so much for hosting our amazing wedding reception! We ate, drank and danced with everyone for the rest of the afternoon before heading out around 6:00 through a crowd of bubbles.
The party did not stop there! We changed and met everyone down at the Heart Bar in the middle of the Casino at Planet Hollywood. We stayed there for a bit and then ended up gambling at Bill's of course - our favorite casino. Our wedding celebration continued into the wee hours of the morning and it was truly unforgettable.
On Sunday we met up with our guests as some were departing and hung out with the rest who were sticking around for another night. We did not fly out of Vegas until 6 am Tuesday morning for our flight to Hawaii. Stay tuned for my next post about our fabulous honeymoon!
