My dear friend Jackie's daughter Layla turned one on July 17th and we celebrated the weekend of July 30th. Emily, Willa and Crystal came in town on Friday and the girls picked me up from work for lunch and shopping.

After hanging out at the Galleria for a bit, Ladd picked up me and Crystal and we headed out to our house. Crystal and I started off the night with some lovely slush drinks. I had seen this drive thru daiquiri place near my house but hadn't yet tried it out. It totally reminded me of College Station! Who better to try it out with then my BFF!

Lauren and Trey met us at the house and all of us went up to the club for live music and drinks (Crystal got to experience our typical Friday night).

Once we left the club we headed out to a nearby bar with some neighbors. We were able to get to this bar by golf cart which was fabulous! There was live music there too and all of us girls were dancing! Then we found a 24 hr pizza place just a couple of doors down which was just what we wanted to end the night with. So much fun!
Saturday was Layla's birthday party at Little Gym. Crystal, Adam, Ladd and myself headed out to Pearland for the festivities. It was so much and you could tell Layla and all of the kids were having a blast at this place. Jackie did a great job with the party and I'm so glad we were all there to celebrate Little Miss Layla!

After the party we went by Jackie's house to open presents. Layla really liked her present from Aunt Alisa and Uncle Ladd!

What a fun weekend with the Corpus gals celebrating Layla!!
What?!? My friend Crystal was in town and I didn't get to see her?! Dang... Maybe next time.
